The “Caretta Caretta” or “Loggerhead”  turtle’s mostlly live in the protected marinepark at the south of Zakynthos; the bay and beaches of Laganas, Kalamaki to Dafni and Gerakas. The greek government is doing it’s best to protect the loggerheads and their breading areas that affected by the many tourists.

“Take a nice ride on a bike” they said, “but keep your distance from the alligators.”
