2014 was not a good year for Iceland. The volcano X erupted and crippled air traffic. Luckily, we could fly and also return home (unfortunately).

The “Caretta Caretta” or “Loggerhead”  turtle’s mostlly live in the protected marinepark at the south of Zakynthos; the bay and beaches of Laganas, Kalamaki to Dafni and Gerakas. The greek government is doing it’s best to protect the loggerheads and their breading areas that affected by the many tourists.

Don’t be offended if an Icelander calls you by your first name the first time you meet as that’s standard nature.
