Located on Castle Rock – an old volcanic plug – is Edinburgh Castle. At noon they still fire the canons and the Scottish crown jewels and the Stone of Scone on which the kings of Scotland were crowned can be found here.
Quite an interesting and old place since most buildings date back to the 17th century.
